Should You Tailor for Every Job?

No. That's not realistic.

Tailor for jobs you actually want. If it's a dream company or a role that matches your career goals, spend 15 minutes customizing. For backup applications, a strong base resume works.

The ratio that works for most people: 5 tailored applications + 15 base resume applications per week. You'll get more interviews from those 5 than the 15.
