ResumeGuru is an AI-powered resume builder that helps you create, edit, and export professional resumes. The service includes:

  • AI-powered content suggestions and enhancements
  • Export capabilities (PDF, DOCX)
  • ATS (Applicant Tracking System) optimization features

2. Beta Status

ResumeGuru is currently in beta. This means:

  • The service is provided free of charge during the beta period
  • Features may change, be added, or removed without notice
  • There may be bugs or interruptions in service
  • We appreciate your feedback to help improve the product

3. User Accounts

3.1 Optional Registration

Account creation is optional. You can use core features without signing up. Creating an account may provide additional features in the future.

3.2 Account Security

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

4. User Content

  • Send your content to AI providers (OpenRouter, Google AI) for processing
  • Generate suggestions based on your content
  • This license terminates when you stop using the service

4.3 Local Storage

Your resume data is stored locally in your browser. We encourage you to export your work regularly, as clearing browser data may result in data loss.

5. AI-Generated Content

5.1 Suggestions Only

AI-generated suggestions are provided as starting points. You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing all AI suggestions before use
  • Ensuring accuracy of your final resume content
  • Verifying that AI suggestions are appropriate for your situation

5.2 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee that:

  • AI suggestions will be accurate or suitable
  • Using our service will result in job interviews or offers
  • AI-generated content is free from errors

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for illegal purposes
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures
  • Use automated systems to abuse the service
  • Reverse engineer or copy the service
  • Use the service to create content that violates others' rights

7. Intellectual Property

ResumeGuru, including its design, features, and branding, is our intellectual property and protected by applicable laws.

7.2 Your Content

You own your resume content. We claim no ownership over your personal information or resume data.

8. Payment Terms

During the beta period, the service is free. When paid features are introduced:

  • Pricing will be clearly displayed before purchase
  • Payments will be processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscription and refund terms will be communicated at that time

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

  • Perform maintenance with or without notice
  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Suspend accounts that violate these terms

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The service will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Results from the service will be accurate

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
